The Tom Byron Story

by Mike Sager

COMING SUMMER, 2024

In a career that spanned four different decades over 34 years, Tom Byron appeared in nearly 2,900 Triple X-rated porn films, making him the most credited actor in the Internet Adult Film Database. According to Tom’s count, he’s made a full three thousand. During that span, he had sex on film with an estimated 4,000 women

Byron got his start in porn as a 21-year-old--a skinny, fresh-faced, boy next door with a Bee-Gees-inspired feathered haircut and the kind of surprise behind his zipper that made even the most seasoned MILFS widen their eyes.  He’d win the last of his many adult film awards at age 52, for best supporting actor, playing Obie-Wan Kenobi in Star Wars XXX: A Porn Parody.

In the 80s and 90s, the peak of his career in the adult industry, Byron was pulling down about $1,000 a day to have sex with all the great foremothers of porn: Kay Parker, Marilyn Chambers, Asia Carrera, Nina Hartley, Ginger Lynn . . . he even worked and had a relationship with an underaged Traci Lords in her porn debut, What Gets Me Hot

Over the better part of four decades, Byron continued to act, shoot, edit and produce adult films. (He acknowledges Viagra for lengthening his career.) His IMDB page lists more than 20 awards, among them: Male Performer of the Year, Stud of the Year, Best Single Performance-Actor, Best Anal Scene, and many more.

The Adult Video News, the bible of the porn industry, places Byron at number 21 of its “Top Fifty Stars of All Time."
